Who we are

Vuto is provided by Sid Verma, a sole proprietor in India. By using the Vuto app or vuto.io you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy at vuto.io/privacy.

Who can use Vuto

You must be 18 or over. You may add only adults to your family plan, and each of them must accept the invite themselves.

Vuto is not medical advice

Vuto gives nutrition information, estimates and reminders. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Where it points out a gap in what you eat, it suggests you ask your doctor.

Talk to a doctor before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant, have diabetes or kidney disease, or have had an eating disorder.

Estimates can be wrong

AI reads your photo or words to estimate the food and its weight (the Privacy Policy says which AI, and what it receives). You confirm each portion before it is logged, and you are responsible for what you confirm. Nutrient values come from published food composition data and product labels; where a value is unknown we show it as unknown.

Subscriptions and prices

Prices are shown before you pay, with the amount you are billed shown most prominently. Every plan is paid from the first day. Subscriptions renew at the full price through the App Store or Google Play until you cancel there.

Adding a family member upgrades your plan straight away, prorated; removing one takes effect at your next renewal. Family members pay their own price and never get the welcome gift or a friend’s gift.

The welcome gift

Your first purchase of Vuto is 10% off your own plan: for example ₹2,249 instead of ₹2,499 for your first year in India. It applies to your first purchase only, once per person, ever. Cancelling and subscribing again does not bring it back. It never combines with a friend’s gift: a friend’s link already includes it.

Referrals

When a friend makes their first purchase through your link, you both get 10% (₹250 in India). Your friend’s comes off that first purchase, on top of the welcome gift. Yours arrives after your friend’s 3rd month as a paying member, and is cancelled if their payment is refunded before then. Adding a family member is not a referral.

Vuto savings from referrals, reels and posts come off your own next bill, delivered as extra days on your plan. They are never paid out as cash, and they wait while you have no paid plan. All your savings together reach at most one yearly price in any 12 months; anything past that does not carry over.

Referring yourself, or using more than one account, is not allowed. We may reverse any reward earned that way, or where a payment is refunded or charged back.

A public Instagram post about Vuto earns 10% off your next bill, and a reel 15%. On a yearly plan that is 10% or 15% of the yearly price off your next renewal; on a monthly plan, of next month’s bill. You need a paid plan to send one.

It must show you using the Vuto app, tag @sidvermas and Vuto (or invite both as Collab), and carry #ad or #Collaboration at the start of the caption, as advertising rules require. Without the label it isn’t approved. It must stay public and live for 14 days; we check it then, and confirm the reward if it still meets these rules.

One reel or post counts every 30 days, and reels and posts together earn at most 45% of a yearly price in any 12 months; a reward past that is cut to what’s left. Only the person who pays for their own plan can earn, not family members on it. Each link counts once.

By sending a link you let Vuto repost it, with credit, on Vuto’s own accounts and in ads. We may reverse a reward for content that breaks these rules or uses fake or bought engagement.

Your phone number

Adding a phone number is optional. We keep it for SMS alerts, which are coming soon, and use it for nothing else. You can change or delete it in Profile at any time.

Photos and labels you submit

When you submit a photo or the values of a product label, you grant Vuto a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, copy, adapt and publish it and the data in it, including redistributing that data commercially through the Vuto Nutrition API. You confirm you have the right to grant this.

Your meal photos are not submissions. They are used only to log your meals, and are never used to train an AI model.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account and privacy) or at vuto.io/delete-account. We may close an account that breaks these terms. Cancelling a subscription is done in the App Store or Google Play, and their refund rules apply.

Changes and the law

If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we tell you in the app before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Nothing in them takes away rights the consumer law where you live gives you.
